It was really well written and I enjoyed the story very much. It was well balanced in regards to passionate moments as well as those that were tender and loving.
I enjoyed this story for the most part. The protagonist was interesting and the premise was engaging. I have just a few issues. One was the unnecessary crudeness inserted into the love/sex scenes. It seemed forced and out of placed for the style the author. I enjoy stories that utilize those words and phrases, but they just didn't seem to fit here. My other issue is that the set-up felt too long, and the "altered" life was to easily resolved.
I really enjoyed reading this story. I liked that it wasn't your typical amnesia story. I can't imagine how it would be to wake up to a new life.
Good story. First part of the book was a drag. Second was much better. Not a great lead character, left a lot to be desired. Christine was the better of the two. Four stars may be a bit liberal. Worth a read if you can get it discounted or free.
I struggled with this story. It was staggered, disjointed and over all lacked a connection between the reader and the characters. The wording switched between crude and tender throughout which made it a challenge to fully invest in any sexual scenes or love scenes for that matter.
this story was amazing, incredibly sweet charming,erotic....it has everything a great story should....I couldn't put it back until I finished it...engaged me since the first page..the characters are so lovely, you can't choose between them..one of the best I have read.. Jody is a professional designer, Christine. her best friend, her accountant, her partner..she had an accident, and her memories have been altered, two Jodie's but only one reality...once she accept the relationship with Christine and let go herself...she found herself again..but another car accident, scared her....was it all a dream, a nightmare?? well..you have to read it..I definitely recommend it. this is a must you'll enjoy and possibly read it more than once.... Awesome!!!!!
Very well written and enjoyable. Jodi and Christine are neighbors and friends. Jodi seems happy enough living in suburbia with her husband, as he is tring to climb the corporate ladder, but unfortunately for Jodi she is left wanting. Christine is the querky friend that helps make life a little easier for the neglected Jodi. When Jodi starts having strange feelings for Christine she backs off from Christine. When Jodi wakes in the hospital after a vehicle accident her world is turned upside down. To her initial horror she finds she has never been married and to make matters worse she also finds she has been in a lesbian relationship with Christine for over 7 years. From there we see how Jodi and Christine deal with this new reality. As I said very well written with a satisfying conclusion.
